I am a freelance illustrator. I love color and simple but dynamic compositions. I like a designed space that feels magical but realistic enough to live inside.

I grew up in Southern California and received a Bachelors in Art at California State University, Fullerton. Now I live in San Diego with my husband and five children. One of my favorite things to do with my children besides going to the beach, is reading beautifully illustrated books to them. I also like to play and teach piano, sing, swim, play volleyball, explore new places, and I recently started surfing. Most of all I love to create art.

I enjoy taking classes at School of Visual Storytelling and I enjoy attending classes and conferences and sketch days at SCBWI.
